Quick Translation Assistant does not collect any personal information. We do not collect:

• Names, email addresses, or account information
• Usage statistics or analytics
• Translation content or history
• Device identifiers or IP addresses

2. Local Data Storage

All data generated by the app — including translation history, settings, and LLM configurations — is stored locally on your device at %USERPROFILE%\.translate_helper\. This data never leaves your machine unless you explicitly choose to share it.

3. Third-Party Translation Services

When you perform a translation, the text you enter is sent to the translation service you have selected:

• Bing Translate: Text is sent to Microsoft's translation API. Please refer to Microsoft's Privacy Policy for details.
• Custom LLM (OpenAI-compatible APIs): Text is sent to the API endpoint you have configured (e.g., OpenRouter, or your own server). Please refer to the privacy policy of that provider.

We have no control over how these third-party services handle your data.

4. Internet Connection

The app requires an internet connection solely to contact the translation service you select. No other network requests are made by the application itself.

5. Children's Privacy

This application is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
